The Langkawi International Boat Exhibition – LIBEX – will take place in November 2006 on the beautiful tropical island of Langkawi. Set against the picturesque backdrop of Telaga Harbour Park, LIBEX is timed to coincide with the Grand Finale of the 2006 Darwin-Bali-Langkawi Yacht Rally and the 2006 Raja Muda Selangor International Regatta. LIBEX will bring together the key players of the region’s marine and yachting industry to provide an excellent business forum for exhibitors and an enjoyable and fruitful experience for visitors.

LIBEX is Malaysia’s new international waterside boat show. The closing stage of the Darwin-Bali-Langkawi Yacht Rally will see some 70 cruising yachts arriving in Langkawi waters in time for LIBEX. Participants in the 2006 Raja Muda Selangor International Regatta, expected to number over 45 yachts in a variety of classes complete with full racing crews, will also be completing the third leg of their annual yachting leapfrog up the west coast of Malaysia as the show opens its doors.With national, regional and international exhibitors, the four-day event will feature on-water displays, luxury yachts, charter services, the latest marine equipment and technology, and all other services and products associated with the marine industry. There will also be a special section dedicated to property and lifestyle services
