The Langkawi Waterfall is the highest man-made waterfall in the country at a height of 67 metres .The cool ,cascading waters of the 3-tier waterfall is indeed a refreshing sight.Situated along Jalan Datai ,the waterfall (Temurun Waterfall)is unique as it flows over a 50-metre road cave tunnel .
Driving through the tunnel ,you can also see fascinating mini waterfalls, which complement the surrounding natural flora.
Straight from having swim at Pasir Tengkorak Beach,do what the smart locals do -drive up a futher 1km a so and wash off at the Temurun Waterfalls. Its cool waters are truly invigorating .
The point where the cascading water hits the pool, after and almost vertical drop of about 50mtrs,is a granite ledge which resembles a bench ,get massage which a natural Jacuzzi .(Caution - during the dry season there will not be much of a cascade.
