Laman Padi Langkawi

Laman padi Langkawi or Rice Garden ,the only one in Malaysia ,is Langkawi's eco-tourism attraction .Visitor can view all aspects of padi cultivation ,the oldest industry in Malaysia .Appreciate its rich heritage ,and chart its history to recall developments while viewing fascinating exhibits at the Museum .The more advanturous can actually experience rice planting by going through the flooded and silted fields in the Rice farm .

Linger a while in the Pavillion or multitiered rooftop Rice Garden ,and take in the breathtaking views of the feilds.There is also a Herbal Garden where traditional herbs are grown or view over unique floating rice garden .Take time to savour Malaysian delicacies made from rice at the restaurant,and leave room from the mouth-watering rice based desserts.
