Rayani Air- New airline coming to Langkawi

Charter airlines which will operate by this year.
Base in Melaka. Stay Tune and wait for our Take Off.

Rayani Air, a new airline base in Melaka plan to start operating using the Boeing 737 to meet the demand for additional, higher-quality passenger service linking Malacca with many popular markets of Peninsular Malaysia, and Sabah and Sarawak.

The airline bases its business and marketing strategies on achieving high, and profitable, load factors through absorption of un-met demand in three key air-traffic categories:

1) Un-served and under-served routes on which high un-met demandcurrently exists or can be readily developed;

2) Serving key niche markets where demand is either unmet or poorly served;

3) Meeting peak traffic demands on certain key regional, seasonal, and variable routes where very high load factors can be predicted despite existing but lower-quality competition or where competition cannot meet the demand

In addition, Rayani Air is designed around, and operated utilizing, the traditional travel agency to ensure low operating and marketing costs, maximum efficiency indeployment of its resources, and a high level of customer service and convenience.

Malaysia plans to boost cruise sector

Hasan Malek, Malaysia’s minister for domestic trade, cooperatives & consumerism, told a conference recently that that in order reach its target of 36 million tourist arrivals and MYR168 billion (US$52.4bn) in tourism revenues by 2020, Malaysia needs to attract higher yield and luxury tourists, which brings the cruise market into the frame....
..The Southeast Asian country is well positioned to tap this sector, having extensive coastlines along the east and west of Peninsular Malaysia as well as Sabah and Sarawak. Its rivers and lakes are also navigable.
A number of cruise ships currently sail in Malaysian waters, stopping at ports including Penang, Langkawi, Kota Kinabalu and Port Klang, the gateway to KL. But Hasan suggested this was not enough.
“We have six cruise ports namely Langkawi, Penang, Port Klang, Kuantan, Kota Kinabalu and Kuching with customs, immigration and quarantine complex[es], but none could cater for larger cruise ships that could bring in thousands of tourists,” he said.
This year, Malaysia plans to welcome 28m international tourists and generated MYR76bn in revenues. But only a tiny fraction of this will be generated by cruise visitors.  .. more > Malaysia plans to boost cruise sector
