Langkawi expects RM50m revenue from Chengdu tourists | theSundaily

Langkawi is expecting RM50 million in revenue from 10,000 tourists from China's Chengdu province who are taking up special tour packages.
"This figure is based on the projection that each tourist would spend an average of RM5,000 for each tour package from now until July next year.

Bina Darulaman set to commence RM1.5b projects in Langkawi next year | theSundaily

Kedah-based property developer, Bina Darulaman Bhd (BDB) is set to commence four development projects with a gross development value (GDV) of RM1.5 billion in Langkawi next year.
The group managing director Datuk Izham Yusoff said the four projects consist of mixed-development projects such as affordable housing, commercial development and serviced apartment projects, eco-tourism as well as jetty upgrading projects.
